LOST IN TRANSLATION: Winona Ryder cuddled up with her rock star fiancé, Blake Sennett, a guitarist in the indie band Rilo Kiley, at Valentino's show Thursday. "I'm a little overwhelmed today. I'm totally jet-lagged," sighed Ryder, though she soon brightened up, pointing out umpteen outfits to Sennett throughout the show. The actress will soon start filming "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee," and disclosed she's also been working on a film with her fiancé, called "Water Pill."

Actress Winona Ryder allegedly is engaged to Blake Sennett, a guitarist in the indie rock band, Rilo Kiley.

Sennett is a former child actor and has also done extensive television roles.  He originally went by the names Blake Soper and Blake Swendson as an actor, but now is credited in all recent works under his birth-name of Blake Sennett.

Getty Blogs claims that Ryder and Sennett are collaborating on a film together titled, "Water Pill" after Ryder shoots "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee."

Winona famously was attached to Johnny Depp, and has had many romances with rockers ranging from Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum to Adam Duritz of Counting Crows.

If we could swap ex-boyfriend lists with any celebrity, it would have to be newly-engaged (!) Winona Ryder. Johnny Depp, Rob Lowe, Daniel Day Lewis, Christian Slater, David Duchovny ... swoon. But we digress. The Getty Images blog is reporting that the top-heavy worldwide-forgiven shoplifter is with fiance. And while the lucky guy in question isn't the prettiest boy she's ever gotten under the covers with, he's got rocker cred. Cali native Blake Sennett, guitarist for indie band Rilo Kiley, has apparently been working with Winona on a film called Water Pill, though we can't find any mention of the mystery flick on IMDB or elsewhere (perhaps it's an indie sex tape? One can only hope.) More details on when and where they made their announcement, including what newly appointed cultural observer Courtney Love had to say about it, after the jump.

As Getty is reporting (though we're not sure just how credible their skills are, considering they spelled Sennett's band "Rilo Kelley") that Winona "reveled" her engagement at the Valentino fashion show in Paris over the weekend. And Courtney Love is quoted as slurring, "You're no one in music until you have feuded with me or until you sleep with Winona." Question for ya, Court? Have you slept with the pixie-haired dish? Probably not, but we are guessing you've frequently feuded with yourself in the mirror after one or one hundred decadent nights. In any case, we're raising our champagne flute along with Court and toasting to the happy couple. We'll be first in line to pick out some Marc Jacobs dresses from their wedding registry

Even if it's good I think it's amovie we'll be most likely unable to see....

It's even very hard to see her late movies and none was screened in cinemas here (Scanner: SciFi Festival, DVD UK - Darwin: DVD Denmark - Ten: DVD USA - Sex&Death: DVD Germany - Last Word: no one knows) and that's very sad....

IMDB now has this film listed! They don't say so but I think this is another film short. They have the working title as "Water Lily" and like mentioned on my first post I found a film short called "Lily and the Water Pills" I think it's the same film.

SFBG: What's next for you?

BS: Jenny's working on a solo record. I'm working on that Oaxaca record, and I just wrote and directed a short film, Water Pills - it's those things that make you pee and stuff. I went to college for filmmaking and in high school and college I did it a lot. I'd like to go back and do that stuff again so I gave it a shot and got actors together [including word has it, Winona Ryder] and cameras and wrote and directed it. I'm editing right now.

Great Photo, Chris. Thanks. I didn't know the premise of this movie,it looks like a character she would enjoy creating. I am betting that she did a great job with this one. I have wanted to see her play a mom for a while. There was "Welcome" and the end of "Sex and Death 101", but that wasn't much, I am looking forward to seeing how she handles this role.

Speaking of Blake from Rilo, I went by his house after Lenka's Hotel Cafe show the other night to put down some euphonium on a soundtrack he is working on for this movie he directed called Water Pills. I watched it and I was really impressed with the quality of the acting. Of course when you can get Winona Ryder to star in your short film you generally don't have to worry so much about the quality of the acting. That being said I think Blake did an excellent job of writing and directing, which did not particularly suprise me given his skills as a producer/composer/songwriter - the musical equivalent of being a writer/director.

Yeah, me too! Hearing that the acting is so good, it's a shame it only a short film. Though, if there is a great performace from Winona- I'll be happy for anything!
