As a rollercoaster fan I found a real gem - the first safe looping rollercoaster built 1901 at Coney Island....  Sadly most poeple at the time were to frightened to ride it and so the coaster changed owners multiple times until it was demolished in the early 40s. It would take till 1976 when german enigneer Anton Schwarzkopf would build the first modern day steel looping coaster "Revolution" at Six Flags Magic Mountain near LA. When you think of today's Flywheel and Magnetic Launched coasters with spinning cars or self-rotating 4th dimension coasters one can hardly understand that this was no blazing success....
