there's been a thread about it back on the-soap, but i'm not sure now, what was outcome of the project... sure sounds interesting, would be shame to drop it.

maybe some of posters of the original thread could bring some insight?

well, to be honest, i didn't also get much around to check that thread...

Winona's IMDB page lists Alpha Numeric as 2008 pre-production, so i guess the project is not officially off...
And according to these news, Winona confirmed the movie to be among her future projects. Yet, the news is 2 years old, so who knows what's gonna happen?

On IMDB the film is still in pre-production. But get this, its release date has now changed and is posted as 2010!  Huh? I really doubt Winona is still attached to this project. I just wonder why IMDB insists on keeping it listed! Although, I did talk to the director and she did confirmed to me that Winona is involved. However, that was 2 years ago... who knows! blink

I emailed Xenia Siamas last night to ask her about this project and Winona's involvement. This is her P.A.'s reply:

Well, I never liked the sound of the project, so I’m okay with her being replaced. Perhaps now this means Winona will choose something better (not the knitting film, though). laugh
