 It is Memorial day weekend, my favorite holiday because to me  it represents prosperity
and hope. I am a builder and remodeler and for me this weekend is traditionally the start of
my work season. The possibilities abound. I am excited.
 The traditional meaning of "Memorial Day" is lost on me,
all do respect, but I am an atheist and a pacifist.
Don't want to start a fight, but I'm not putting flowers on anyone's grave.

But I do enjoy a good war movie.

My top five war films.

1. Love and Death
2. Barry Lyndon
3. Deer Hunter
4. The Great Escape
5. The Boys in Company C

Mine too.

I was maybe 15 when it first came out and I laughed from beginning to end.
Over the years my appreciation for Allen's work has grown on a different level
and there is no one sexier than Diane Keaton. Ever.
