This is sad. I wasn't familiar with Rep. Giffords
but from what I have learned about her she seemed to be
an extraordinary person with a great future.

As for the other.

As much distaste as I have for Sarah Palin and as much
as I disagree with the Tea Party,we shouldn't associate
either one with this tragedy.
Not any more than we should associate the Muslim faith with 911.

What I read into Palin's statements about, "reloading", "fire", and "aim"
is nothing more than strong rhetoric.

This is the work of a madman,(madwoman). No matter what flag
this person ends up waving in defense of their monstrous act,
no political figure or faction supports this action.

anyway -

Turns out that they expect the congresswoman to make a recovery. Looks like she got extremely lucky. still terrible for the other 6 that died (including a congressional aid, a state judge and a 9 year old girl) - and 18 wounded
