In California, Proposition 69 raised the mandatory husband and  baby age to 43, it's based on the China Min-Tau procreate mandate of 1951. There is contoversy, and she herself has protested. I have a "Free Winona's Eggs" t-shirt on E-Bay.

she should have a baby when she wants to, not when her age is proper for it. anyway, it's really a private thing, it's stupid to make a discussion out of it.

I honestly don't think she will have children.

She's not married.

It is not funny, it is very sad Sad When she will be old woman, she will be sad and solitary. I'm troubled about it, because I very , very like her :/ In opinion it is horrible.

from PEOPLE MAG  - By Stephen M. Silverman, Tuesday July 17, 2007 03:45 PM EDT

Quote
Though single, Ryder would like to have children. "I think I assumed I would be married and have a kid by the age I am now," says the 35-year-old. "It kind of occurred to me for the first time last year: I actually want to go on and have kids."

And while her past boyfriends have included such famous men as Matt Damon, Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum and Johnny Depp, Ryder says she's still looking for the right man for her. "You know how people ask, 'Who is the love of your life?' God, I hope I haven't met that person yet, in a way, because I'm single," she says. "I hope I haven't had that, since that would be sad."

There's time for her to have children, if she still wants to. I don't think she'll be sad and solitary though, if she doesn't. Many people lead rich and fulfilling lives without having children, but I do respect this is not your opinion. We all love Winona here, and wish the best for her.

This is all very strange...Hahahhahahahahaha!!!!! Being gay and all, I, too, think about what's gonna happen to me when I'm older and I have no children to take care of me.  But what the heck----everybody dies alone anyway.

Well, eagle, maybe Governor-elect 'Moonbeam' can get things in order in a hurry, I'll pack my best suit(with bowtie!) in a cardboard suitcase, slick down my hair, stuff a 10 dollar bill in my shoe(she'll probably like flowers?), hop the Westbound to San Fran, and help the poor girl release her eggs.

He's back?!

I havn't been paying attention to California, I didn't even know he was running.
Good luck to them.

This country needs a good editing.Nothing is right the first time around, not a movie,a book or a soup. There are always adjustments. There is really only 35 or so good states. We have added on, why can't we subtract?

Dear Alabama, we don't get it.

Dear Minnesota, wouldn't you be much happier in Canada?

Dear Alaska, Sarah, seriously?

Just a thought.

But I digress, hurry up and get out there and free her eggs before Jerry taxes them.

I have a child, so I understand the importance of it all.

It's sad to make discussions online about someones life, in this way. It's not sad not having a baby if person wants to have it in proper way, waiting to meet someone special first, etc. People will die-having kids or not. Just because she is famous person doesn't mean it's polite making this kind of topic about her. It's the same as if someone made topic about her sex life, or her secrets.

In my opinion less and gays should adopt children or use for in vitro.
Winona Ryder is a famous person, so people have right to intereste her private life. Newspapers write about children different stars, so I don't see anything unsuitable to talk about Winona's children.
