Due to some changes in some setting, you may be having trouble logging in to the board (or logging out).

What you may have to do is delete the cookie for this site. Unfortunately, unlike the IPB board, this one doesn't seem to have an option to clear cookies for the board.

Close your browser and in Windows go to "Search"  - "Search for files or folders" (Usually in the Start menu)

In the search, enter wfzr in the "Containing text:" box.

This should eventually find the cookie for this site. It will probably look like a text file. Delete the file and then start your browser and try to log in again. Hopefully that will work and you shouldn't have anymore problems.

I also recommend logging out when you're done here, if you can remember to do it.

To delete cookies faster (my search "contains:" would take like 5 hours, haha):

- if you're using Firefox, go to "Tools"->"Options"->"Privacy" in Firefox, click "Show Cookies..." button, and scroll down till you find "wfzr.net" and/or "www.wfzr.net", expand the item(s), and delete all cookies listed under it
- if you're using Internet Explorer, go to "C:/Documents and Settings/yourProfile/Cookies/" folder in Windows Explorer (where "yourProfile" is your user name in Windows"; the folder "Cookies" is hidden, you might need to show hidden folders - in Explorer go to "Tools"->"Folder Options"->"View", and select there "Show hidden files and folders"), and then delete there all files called "yourname@wfzr"
- if you're using Opera, go to "Tools"->"Preferences"->"Advanced" in Opera, click on left "Cookies" and then down click "Manage cookies..." button, scroll down till you find "wfzr.net" and/or "www.wfzr.net", expand the item(s), and delete all cookies listed under it

I noticed over at the WRFP, Rusty and Stephen Slater are having trouble with this board.

If you guys read this, you need to be more specific about what problem you're having.

Stephen, you are not registered as a member here so I'm not sure what you mean by it not recognizing your ID. Please explain further.

Rusty, are you able to log out of the board? If not there's a problem with the cookie on your system. I'm not sure what can be done about that because of the type of system you're using but I can try and find out.

I did some searching and found this:

Quote
when you're at this site, look on your WebTV keyboard. On the top row of buttons, near the right side, is a button that says 'info.' Press info.

You will see a pop-up card that has some options on it. Choose the option that says 'reset' or 'delete cookies.'

You probably will then see a window that says 'There is no web page or other information available for the item chosen.' If you see this, don't worry, nothing has gone wrong. Your cookies are probably deleted.

Maybe try that? I don't know what else to tell you.

hmmm that doesn't actually clear cookies - just web pages. If it did, when you cleared your cache you'd be logged out of the board when you refreshed.

But that is a good idea to try if you're having trouble - sometimes it gets rid of something that is causing a problem.

yeah, it typically helps on IE 5.5 and 6, and Firefox 1.1-1.3, if cookies don't help, since those browsers had problems recognizing when does a php page expire...

I can't see any passwords - they are encrypted. The only thing I can do is change it for you, so you can PM me with a new one if you want to.
