Interesting note on the pool scene in "Quilt", it is one of only three flaws in that movie. She should have been wearing a bikini.

Thanks man, what about 2.02 and 2.15? How do you rate that film 'How to Make an American Quilt'. I have not as yet seen it.

Not certain about 2.15,but i can't imagine what other movie it may be.
"How do you rate ,'How to Make an American Quilt' ?"
It's the first time I saw Winona as an adult.
When you watch a movie you want to relate to a character, I am older than she , so when I watched ,"Beetlejuice", for instance, I related to Alec Baldwin.
"Mermaids", it was Bob Hoskins.
"Welcome Home ,Roxy Carmichael ", it was Jeff Daniels.
"Quilt" was the first movie I could sit on the porch with her, drink some wine,smoke a joint and talk about life. The first movie I related with her as a peer.
I like movies about women, I like stories, these are great women and great stories. It is one of my favorite Winona movies.

Nice way to put it, you have given me great encouragement to see it now.
Yeh i can see the first was 'Simone' now. I dont think the second is though, thought it might have been 'Boys' due to the scene in the bathroom but i dont remember her being in a shower.

It dosn't look like "Boys", I don't know. "Simone" is still my best guess.
But I get why you would say "Boys".
I don't think I've ever seen that scene.
Which brings me back to "Simone", because I never watched that movie.
