I have never tried, and cannot speak for anyone else but I would very much doubt Winona even looks at any of the mail that is sent to either her apparent home address or agent offices.

Any celebrities or ‘famous’ people that do respond to fan mail will more than likely have a secretary deal with it.

I read somewhere that she only signs things for people who look under 13.  Anyone know if this is true?

Hi Joe,

There is an address for fan mail floating around out there, it's easy enough to find. There was a magazine article recently where during the interview a man approached her and asked for an autograph, she replied that she dosn't sign for anyone over the age of thirteen. She did sign at the Giffoni Fetsival last year, (cue lunis), but that is a children's festival.

What I want to know is does she let middle aged men smell her?

I want to smell Winona Ryder.

I don't really see the point of autographs. And to get autographs from Winona it depends mostly on her mood - I think at premieres or events one has a slightly bigger chance. I don't know if autograph-signing could be part of a movie or event contract. We saw Winona doing it at Giffoni and Lost Souls premiere.

I'd meet her and could keep my tongue straight I'd ask for a picture together with her.... love

Generally I think it's all about privacy - if Winona would start posing for pictures or doing autographs in the street you'd have a crowd - and idiots - in no time.

If she doesn’t do autographs in the streets then what chance do you have of a picture with her or em…..letting you smell her.

Privacy is a big thing and idiots are a big problem (not you lunis  Wink) and I can only imagine the degree to which people of certain ‘fame’ are inundated by people asking for stuff signed and pictures……n stuff.  Although at times it is understandable.

It does take a bit of courage to go up to someone who is on their own in public and ask for a pic or autograph and I have been ‘stone walled’ by a couple in the past and it is gutting.

Has anyone actually seen Winona in public (apart from an event) and asked her?

The only genre who got the whole autograph and photo-session thing into an orderly way is SciFi. If you want to meet a star you just have to check in with the corresponding SciFi convention - but granted - there're mostly B or TV-stars attending. But nevertheless...

@Lunis: Of course I didn't menat you.... Cool

But on videos from events we see some lone idiots shouting her names or thief - I as a real fan would punch them in the head - but that would lead to an outrage. Even at the night after the Star Trek premiere when I was watching it the second time and really cheered her name on the end credits some guy had to make a stupid remark - I turned and made him shut up - but a glare was enough that time.
