1 finish punchline:
That's not my wife, that's a Senate inquiry.
2. World ends, what do you do?
I don't listen to Apocalyptic nonsense so I doubt that I would believe the end was At hand. While Chicken Little weeps I pull up my sleeves.
3. Advice to me at 20?
Choose. Philosophy is Greek for masturbation. Socrates and the boys are in a circle jerk behind the Parthenon. Pick a side ,it dosn't matter which side, but choose.
4. Radio format?
20 straight hours of The Bickersons followed by a replay of Welles' radio adaption of The War of the Worlds.
5. 6uy named Phillip?
One,when I was A kid. We called him Rabbit, I don't why, He wore his hair like a Nazi helmet, had the jaw of a Cro-Magnon and the shoulders of Gary Cooper. He would ingest great quanities of marijuana and pluralize beer with a S.
Let's go get some beers.
Lost track of him in '79. 22 years later I am sitting at a stoplight when I hear someone yell out, " Dobbie !"
( Yes, they used to call me, Dobbie. Had something to do with my facial expressiojn after I took a tab of Mickey Mouse at a Jethro Tull concert.)
In the passenger seat of the car next to me sat Phil with his helmet head and glassy eyes.
"We are going to see Bela Fleck in Albany!", he screamed. Then he was gone.
Rock on,Phil.

Until the end, I can see Groucho, Olivier, Hepburn, Hitchcock, John and Yoko, Woody Allen, etc., his interviews. This man talks about something, it is said a lot, especially nowadays.

1) Your Bio is being filmed, and in the lead role playing you is: Larry Storch
2) Your celebrity crush...oh go on, admit it: A toss-up between Anais Nin and Joey Heatherton...Myrna Loy as Nora Charles. She's smart, beautiful , rich , and she adores a loveable lush who has a propensity for performing stupid-man-tricks. My ideal woman.
3) Your favorite Muppet: Mister Mmmm-Mmmm, the one with the ball gag in its mouth.
4) You arrive at a 4-way Stop at the same time as an ambulance, police car, and beer truck: Who has the right-of-way? : Ah, I see you are familiar with Dr. Foster Brooks' theory , " Dies Saturni Nocturnal Convergence." I actually experienced this phenomenon and found the theory to be correct. Beer truck, me, police car, ambulance.
5) Grab a book close by. Page 23. Second paragraph. First sentence: " Remove from the heat and skim off any fat that has risen to the surface." Taken from a recipe for garlic meatball poorboys as found in Emeril Lagasse's, "Every Day is a Party". The book closest to me.
That was fun, Phil. Thanks.

Larry Storch I'm laughing here, eagle. Oh, man, that's funny.
****
1) Your Bio is being filmed, and in the lead role playing you is: Steve Buscemi, but he's probably too handsome.
2) Your celebrity crush...oh go on, admit it: Rhoda. I wanted Mary T Moore as a friend, but I wanted to sleep with Rhoda.
3) Your favorite Muppet: The Swedish Chef, but I always wanted to sleep with Beaker.
4) You arrive at a 4-way Stop at the same time as an ambulance, police car, and beer truck: Who has the right-of-way? The beer truck. I boldly leap from my car and direct him through, dodging bullets!
5) Grab a book close by. Page 23. Second paragraph. First sentence: "I suppose, Monsieur Lemm", said Maria Dmitrievna, "you have come to give Liza a music lesson". (page 23 was blank, wouldn't you just know it, taken from page 22). From Liza, by Ivan Turgenev 1869

1)What is something that you've never done that you secretly are dying to do?
Stopped "dying" to do things when I became a father. It quit being about me and it won't be about me again for some time.
I'd like to see Paris, I guess. It is high on Cat's list as well so it will probably happen in the next four to seven years.
Finish a novel, reading not writing. Mailer's "Ancient Evenings", it took him eleven years to write I hope he dosn't mind if it takes me thirty to read. Haven't picked it up in three or more years.
Finish a novel, writing not reading. Haven't picked it up in six or more years.2)What is one fear that you can't seem to overcome? Other than finishing a Norman Mailer novel?
Not being able to breath. I don't mean dying, rather, not being able to take in and enjoy a single breath of air. I often had croup as a child, I was close to drowning in Lake Michigan when I was seven and ten years ago I devoloped sleep apnea. I would wake gasping for air on regular intervals. I was too young and too good looking to go to bed wearing a F-16 fighter pilot's mask, so I quit smoking, minimized my alcohol intake and began to exercise. I sleep much better now.3)You know I like you if: ".... in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?"4)A couple musical selections that makes you weep like a little girl (not because the singing is so bad): I haven't wept like a little girl since they took "My Mother the Car" off the air.

Grateful Dead's "Ripple" has always been a sentimental favorite.
http://www.youtube.com/v/671AgW9xSiALennon's "Mother" is stark and dramatic.

We had one tv and 7 kids. I was the youngest and was used to fighting over tv,chairs, the last dumpling and everything else. But on Saturday mornings there was a show out of NYC that we all agreed on. Chiller Theater
http://www.youtube.com/v/ATUJG3DSziw "I was a Teenage Frankenstein", "The Screaming Skull", "The Crawling Eye". Classic stuff.
