 I  would be interested in seeing a movie shoot.  I'm afraid I'm not going to be agressive but a moment may happen.

For me, her "comeback" is more of an evolution rather than a revolution.
It's not about chainsaws, it's about carving.
I am impressed with how she is handling her career. She is not the first actress to have to age in Hollywood, one moment she's hot, then she's not.
It is a typical story.
But she is not typical and I believe that there are good things coming.
What's the hurry?

Will Jennifer Garner take on another film alias?

"Alias" fans, take note.  Jennifer Garner could keep those multiplex appearances coming, After appearing in the ensemble "Valentine's Day" and opposite Ricky Gervais in "The Invention of Lying" over the past six months, Garner is getting ready to shoot the lead part in "Butter," that story of Midwestern country-fair jealousies that she's also producing.

Now comes word that producers are talking to her for a key part in Ron Howard's (at-the-moment untitled) movie about cheating. Kevin James, Vince Vaughn and Winona Ryder are already on board for the Universal/Imagine project. So, another sultry beauty in the land of average-seeming guys. But we guess if she could hook up with Gervais, playing alongside these guys should be as easy as, well, butter.

Yeah, but while it might not be the best film, (plot, co-stars) Winona's role might be a good one! Plus, she'll be back in a higher profile film, which also could mean better films to come. I think her signing onto this is a very good thing! I'm really excited for her!

Jennifer Garner Is A Cheater

 After years spent playing Agent Sydney Bristow, I’m sure Jennifer Garner knows a thing or two about going behind people’s backs. The L.A. Times has it Garner (Invention of Lying) is in talks to star alongside Vince Vaughn and Kevin James in Cheaters. The Ron Howard-directed film deals with Vaughn finding out James’s wife has been diddling someone. Vaughn, after confronting the wife, must decide whether to tell his friend the dirty details or save the marriage.

Winona Ryder will play James’s cheating wife, while Garner’s role is less defined. Garner is already set to start filming Butter next week; a movie about a small, Midwestern town involved in competitive butter carving. I don’t know how she works that and Cheaters into her schedule considering filming on the Universal/ Imagine Entertainment production is said to be starting in May. Also, how, after doing a movie about carving up big slabs of butter could anyone ever do anything else? All that's really left is to do a movie about bacon.

So Deadline Hollywood is reporting on offers now? C'mon Mike Fleming, you surely have better sources than we do to turn this report into something more substantial. Anyway, Jennifer Connelly has apparently been offered a role in Ron Howard's forthcoming marital crisis comedy (seems to be a theme running around Hollywood lately) "Cheaters" starring Vince Vaughn, Kevin James and Winona Ryder.

The film, previously known as "Your Cheating Heart," centers on a man who finds out his best friend's wife is cheating, only to struggle with what to do with the knowledge. Vince Vaughn is set to play the man struggling the knowledge, while Ryder will play the cheating wife married to Kevin James. The film is based off an idea by Brian Grazer, produced by Vaughn and Imagine Entertainment and has been adapted into a script by Allan Loeb ("Wall Street 2," "The Baster"). No word yet on what Connelly's role might be, but the love interest of Vaughn would be a safe guess we think.

Earlier this month, Jennifer Garner was in talks for a role but with Connelly now in the mix, does that mean Garner is out? Entertainment Weekly Nicole Sperling is reporting that Winona Ryder's having landed the part of Kevin James' cheating spouse in Ron Howard's Cheaters (a.k.a., Your Cheating Heart/Untitled Cheating Project) indicates a career rebound.

My three reactions: (1) Ryder's part is arguably the least fleshed-out of the four leads, or at least it was in the October '09 draft of Alan Leob's script that I reviewed on 2.23; (2) the movie is essentially about the inability of James' longtime friend and business partner (played by Vince Vaughn) to man up and tell James that his wife might be up to something on the side -- he actually hems and haws about whether to share this vitally important suspicion with a guy he cares about; and (3) there are no cheaters plural in Cheaters but a single infidel (Ryder's Geneva character), unless you want to say that Vaughn is figuratively "cheating" on James.

The implication of Cheaters, however, suggests a nifty premise -- a movie about two guys and their significant others who are all cheating on each other at the same time. Now that's a funny set-up. That I would pay to see.

Cheaters will begin shooting in Chicago in May, Sperling reports.

Well, I just hope her role gets "fleshed-out" come time to start filming!

OMFG, Connelly AND Winona in the same movie?? If Connelly jumps on this, I might have a heart attack! She and Winona are literally my favorite actresses out there! (Along with Kate Winslet). Ahhh!!!!

Mine, too.  How Winona will work with Jennifer will be interesting, though, considering she dissed Jennifer in a magazine interview, back when Jennifer was being considered for Veronica in Heathers, but Winona of course ended up with the part.  I think Winona looked down on Jennifer who was not doing quality films at the time, but who would turn out to win a Best Actress Oscar in 2006 for her role as Alicia Nash in A Beautiful Mind (directed by Ron Howard!).  If Jennifer gets cast in Cheaters, it will all come full circle.  Reminds me of the saying not to burn bridges, or some such thing.
