Welcome to the new board

All things come to and end, but this is a new beginning and it could be a good one too. Yes it sucks that we don't have the old posts anymore, but we've survived it before and we can again if we want to. I plan to be online for a long time so I will keep this place going as long as I can.

I've copied the forum categories from The-Soap so it would be the familiar format - but we don't have to leave it this way. We can always make changes and/or add new forums. This is a new start so ideas are welcome.

Also welcome are volunteers to be moderators. I do spend a lot of time online, but it would be nice if some other people helped keep the place clean.

If anyone wants to talk about ideas for skins or other features just post here or PM me.

Yeah, it sucks the posts are gone... on the other hand - we can freely re-post stuff now, haha!

The skin is nice, bit confusing at beginning, but easy to get used to. Colours are ok also.

As for forum, I'd prefer the organization as it was before the merging was done on the-soap... E.g. to split up entertainment into few forums (or have subforums? - maybe better idea), and maybe to divide Winona Media into Winona Images and Winona Videos... though, not so many videos are typically posted, so maybe it's not necessary.

I'd gladly volunteer as a mod, unless you think I'd make more spam than I'd get rid of, haha!

Those suggestions sound good to me.

This is the default skin. I can try others. This board makes it very easy to try new things. I can download skins directly into the board from the admin cp - plus security updates and other features. Makes it much easier to stay on top of it.

JC - I can make you a global moderator. Probably won't be much to do, but you'll be able to fix some things if needed and I'm not around.

No database needed, FTP access, automatic thumbnails, comments, works even with PHP "safe_mode" on, ...
