For those who don't know-
Sexy Spanish siren Penelope Cruz is reportedly joining
Johnny Depp in the cast of The Pirates of the Caribbean:
On Stranger Tides, come May 2011.
And with Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom jumping ship,
the Pirates series its looking a little light on the salty
high seas these days. But with Cruz aboard, it should add
a much needed spice - she is to play a 'feisty foreign character'.
And with her and Depp in the midst of finding the Fountain of
Youth along with Geoffrey Rush's Captain Barbossa it may just be
the series' returning senstional catapult that the last two films
somewhat lacked with its murky plotting, except for a few good
swashbuckles and laughs.
