Oh, those strange and dark mysteries. Are they so unknowing that they might not possibly be mysterious at all? That the surprising answers may have been in front of us the whole time? Take a good look at the photo below of this surrealistic painting. What is your take, or guess to this particular painting's meaning or meanings. Hmm?

Now, I do not know the artist. I found it w/o a name. But its typical for me to not find everything there is to know about something when I indirectly find them, when and where my fate's curiosity may take me.  I'm actually researching that mystery and a few others.

“The Therapist” by René Magritte – reminds me of “Birdman of Alcatraz” and Sarah Lucas' “Aunty Jam”:

Gladstone Gallery

It takes odd birds to make a colorful jungle… but watch out for some of the snakes; they can be hard to trust!  I like building mysteries, but I'm not one to break trust... trust can be more important than truth!

There’s a quote (I’m not sure who by): “Neurotics build castles in the sky.  Psychotics live in them”... but also a further part: “Psychologists charge rent.”  Writing can be good therapy too. Wink

Thanks for your kind info, J.D.  >>----->  hat tip

Now, if I weren't so lazily distracted, and always falling asleep but never fully sleeping,
I could have possibly found that out on my own...

...yeah, right, like after twenty years...like anything that takes a long time to work, like
a darn computer's processor or keyboard. The latter needs a Louisville Slugger upside its keys.
Sometimes it just makes me want to >>---->
puke  whoa!  Yep, yep.  Cheesy

Anyhow, your "take" on that painting surprises me. It reflects my current emotional thoughts,
especially considering I did not seek out a specific or personal meaning of a painting's
photo, only that it would be from a painting for sure, given their endless interpretations,
it was a wise choice. I just wanted something strangely offbeat that was very mysterious to
convey my outward curiosity of whats there to be seen or to be wondrously found.

Trust is more important than truth. Yes, I agree, so should everyone. Its whats left after the
truth has had its proud moment. If one still feels a knowing for the other and still
accepts them, then they wouldn't care no matter what occurs in any kind of truth.

Now this is just simply hilarious >>----->  “Neurotics build castles in the sky.  Psychotics live in them” ...  “Psychologists charge rent.”

Let's see. What do I see in that painting. Hmm.

Well, I see there's an inner and outer peace with this person, one dove in and one dove out. Also, that could mean an incompleteness, or imbalance with his peace as well. And so there could be a double meaning with the cage too --  he's caged for some reason, right, I mean it has replaced his body as you can see.

He needs to rest, so he's sitting, with a traveling bag even, so he's probably on a journey of sorts, as anyone would be, huh?

His thrifty-looking attire suggests he's a bit poor or just above that. But his confidently brimmed hat suggests he is good in heart and would be smiling if we could see his face. But we don't do we? So that could mean he has a melancholy along with the occaisional smile. This absolutely would reflect the aforementioned dual peace meanings with the doves. Which, yes, they could be love birds only they look the same.  But wouldn't you agree that true lovers need both the same and opposite interests? Look again at the doves and where there at with one another. They are the same and yet they are separate, away from each other, one in and one out of the cage. There's that opposite, huh? You may begin to see this person's overall objective meaning here, huh? No? Okay, if so. Just keep looking and thinking about what I said, perhaps.

And lastly, there's his supportive cane and his blanketing cloak. One symbolizing his need for something other than loneliness and misunderstandings (support) and the other is obvious, he has a need or desire to be private mostly (revealing his insecurities there), except he does like to chatter, in ways, hence the doves' coo-cooing. Okay that may have been too much.

Artist Unknown

I'd really like to know who that artist is!

I recently discovered Andy Thomas:

A painting by Khang Le.

Journey's Threshold (Well, at least thats what I'm calling it! Yep.  Roll Eyes )

Wryter's Journal...Note -

Its been said many times before that when we take adventurous journeys in life that you just never
know what you'll discover.
Especially when your not exactly sure why or what you are looking for in the first place.
I mean, do we owe it to ourselves, personally and/or collectively, to find out for sure if there is anything
to find out there thats very surprisingly remarkable which could possibly, and positively, change us in
some way?

Its your life, where will you take yourself?
