I have seen a few comparisons already...Pattinson to Depp and Stewart to Winona as teen heartthrobs...

The Dracula link also plays...

There are so many comparisons between Mina and Bella, even down to how they look. It really struck me how similar Winona Ryder looked to Kristen Stewart. Down to the curly brown hair, thin face, super pale. Like, they look SO similar!

I do appreciate Kristen's pale pretty face and the contrasting dark brunette mane...she is slim as well...

Food for thought...

"Holy Mother of Crap"

Ha!

Who is the current Holy Mother of Crap?

In my day it was Anita Bryant. But who could forget Tipper Gore?

Bible Spice, that's funny. That's also what worries me about her, she seems to have become a pop icon. She may be more dangerous ,(effective),than Bryant. Or, she may just prove to be ridiculous. Actually, forget the former, I'm betting on the latter. She's gonna fall faster than what's his name, Newt. Flavor of the month.

More:
Mina out...and a great leer from Gary Oldham...

IN LOVE WITH A MONSTER...

Winona Ryder in 'Dracula'

In the 1992 film Dracula, Mina Harker (Winona Ryder) is transformed into a vampire by Gary Oldman's lovelorn count. He is smitten by a photo that shows she is the reincarnation of his long-dead wife. Ultimately, he is only after one thing, her blood, and she is forced to lift his curse by driving a dagger through his broken heart.

As for Kristen:
Quote
The 19-year-old actress is the latest to play a long line of heroines who fall for a leading man with a dark, not to say supernatural, side.
