Winona Ryder 'in-tent' on dodging paparazzi

A small black tent was erected in the grand hall of Toronto's Union Station shortly after 1:00 pm to shelter the two-time Oscar nominee between takes. Surrounded by a circle of crew members, Ryder – wearing a hooded parka and holding a piece of paper in front of her face – walked to the tent under the cover of a large black umbrella.

The 38-year-old, who is playing the titular character in the CBS/Hallmark Hall of Fame production, held a piece of paper in front of her face whenever she wasn't inside the enclosure or doing her scenes. Her co-star Barry Pepper (pictured doing a scene with Ryder) was evidently unfazed by the attention of the paparazzi and the passers-by who snapped photos.

According to one of the background actors on set today, extras were told that Ryder wasn't hiding because she's a diva but because "she doesn't like the lights."

Last week, Ryder was shielded from the paparazzi outside her trailer on Jarvis Street by crew members holding chairs and umbrellas.

Someone on IMDB said they saw a promo for this last night on CBS and that it is to air on January 30th 2010!!

Okay, so, just got an email back from William G. Borchert, the author of the book and a producer on the film. I asked him the air date and when the promos would be out... here is his answer.

Promos should start rolling aroundthew end of March, the beginning of April since the air date is April 25 on the CBS network. Bill

Shooting of the Entertainment One/Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, "When Love Is Not Enough," was completed in Toronto, Canada just before Christmas and is now in post-production. It is scheduled to be aired as a Hallmark Hall of Fame Presentation on the CBS Network on Sunday, April 25 at 9 P.M. EST.
