JUST ANNOUNCED! Darren Aronofsky's BLACK SWAN Will Open On December 1st
The film starring Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel and Mila Kunis will open in select theatres on December 1st and expand from there. If you missed the press release announcing the film's world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September, read it here.
A psychological thriller set in the world of New York City ballet, Black Swan stars Natalie Portman as Nina, a featured dancer who finds herself locked in a web of competitive intrigue with a new rival at the company (Mila Kunis). Black Swan takes a thrilling and at times terrifying journey through the psyche of a young ballerina whose starring role as the duplicitous swan queen turns out to be a part for which she becomes frighteningly perfect.

Let's see when and if it gets overseas. Generally I'm more eager for Cheaters (or whatever it will be called) as it's a lead with a major release. If the UK Black Swan DVD comes before the german cinema release - like with Pippa Lee - I'll skip the later....

According to a post on the IMDB board Black Swan has been rated R - sex scenes, disturbing images and drug use - so a PG-16 for europe.... |
