IMDB has added Winona and the other actors to the cast list!

Yes - but they still didn't add her Spike Award for Best Cameo.... Tongue

Casting directors are seeking SAG and non-union men and women to portray Ballet Dancers at a professional Ballet school for the feature film "Blank Swan". You must have some actual ballet training, be in great physical shape, very trim, and comfortable in leotard and tights, or other dancer clothing. Filming runs from November 16th, 2009 through January 29th, 2009.

Details Here:

Black Swan Ballet Dancers Auditions

A nice lookout also for Winona's costumes..... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

And from another so-called IMDB-Insider:

Of course not. No body doubles. Training right now is 4-5 hours a day, 7 days a week. That would be a huge waste of training and preparation if they were just gonna use doubles.

Just in case it matters to anyone, Winona's full name in 'Black Swan' is Beth Macintyre.

I am really hoping, most likely along with the rest of you that this role is a turning point for her and opens doors to other better roles...  happy yes I think it's safe to assume that we’d all really love for her to continue working with acclaimed directors and actors… like she used to do. I am really looking forward to this film and also the TV film, as well! They both have the potential of being very great roles for her! Can't wait to see how they turn out!

Is it confirmed that she's in this role? Or just speculation at this point?

I don't know if this has been posted, but MILA KUNIS talks about black Swan on JJ (Winona & Natalie are mentioned in one of the questions):

Black Swan even mentioned in the "Hollywood Reporter" section of my TV mag. Announcing it as part of Winona's comeback after Trek.

Keep all fingers crossed for this one... Roll Eyes

Darren Aronofsky's upcoming thriller The Black Swan just got its latest cast member. According to Variety, Gossip Girl's Sebastian Stan will be joining the previously announced Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis and Winona Ryder.

The film centers on Portman's character, a New York balleria and her rivalry with another dancer. My chief interest in the film is its three smoking-hot actresses. I suspect it will now be more difficult to imagine myself in the world of the film, surrounded by these actresses, each of them most likely in some sort of leotard, since at least two of them will probably be debasing themselves for a generic CW hunk-of-the-week. In so doing, they'll reveal the dull commonness behind their angelic luster, and the flame of my fantasties will be extinguished.

Beth poster from "Black Swan!"

I don't know what it is, but to me, something about her face reminds me of Norma Desmond.
