Casting directors are seeking SAG and non-union men and women to portray Ballet Dancers at a professional Ballet school for the feature film "Blank Swan". You must have some actual ballet training, be in great physical shape, very trim, and comfortable in leotard and tights, or other dancer clothing. Filming runs from November 16th, 2009 through January 29th, 2009. Just in case it matters to anyone, Winona's full name in 'Black Swan' is Beth Macintyre. I am really hoping, most likely along with the rest of you that this role is a turning point for her and opens doors to other better roles...  I think it's safe to assume that we’d all really love for her to continue working with acclaimed directors and actors… like she used to do. I am really looking forward to this film and also the TV film, as well! They both have the potential of being very great roles for her! Can't wait to see how they turn out! |

Darren Aronofsky's upcoming thriller The Black Swan just got its latest cast member. According to Variety, Gossip Girl's Sebastian Stan will be joining the previously announced Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis and Winona Ryder.
The film centers on Portman's character, a New York balleria and her rivalry with another dancer. My chief interest in the film is its three smoking-hot actresses. I suspect it will now be more difficult to imagine myself in the world of the film, surrounded by these actresses, each of them most likely in some sort of leotard, since at least two of them will probably be debasing themselves for a generic CW hunk-of-the-week.
