hello everybody.

As far as i know, Winona is born Horowitz. She is the descendant of Jews, immigrated from Romania and Russia.

Does anybody know how to get information about her Russian line? I'm really very interested in getting information about Winona's Russian ancestors.

If anybody knows about the Horowitz line of Winona, I will be really gratefull.

She's of romanian-russian heritage - but I think I've heard the russian part is now one of the baltic countries but I'm not sure - but her families real surname is Tomchin. The surname Horowitz only surfaced due to some mixup at immigration at Ellis Island.

Maybe you should visit Ellis Island and check the public archives there.

I've never worked for this awful orgnisation, be sure ))

I just have the same surname somewhere in my heritage tree, so here's the interest )
