1. Because it wasn't the script she signed up for. She wanted out but legal threats kept her put. Also, the film blows.
2. It was based on a short story "Twenty Minutes" by James Salter and can be found in Dusk and Other Stories.

You should read the short - then you know why the movie is crap. The short is a gem - the movie in comparison is a piece very ordinary stone.

The best way to watch this movie: Switch of the audio and simply watch Winona beauty - maybe with your fav music CD running..... Embarrassed
