btw - the whole thing about her being unable to complain because she is so lucky is such an old thing. We've been hearing that forever. Nothing new there.
jumped by bullies at school... yep heard that years and years ago...
hope the actual article is more interesting
agree, agree, agree. Something I hope even more is that she tells us what here next film will be or what she plans to work on next... Me, too! Looking forward to reading it.

'I can't pretend to know Winona well.' admits Miller, 'I don't. I don't think it's easy to get to know her - but it's easy to love her.' Easy to love her. Perfect. I'm gonna steal that quote.

She's also striving for more balance in her life. Her role model on that front: Kate Winslet. http://www.newser.com/sto...=rss&utm_campaign=100what? no role model, as far as I know she just said that she loved her. in conan o'brien. it seems exaggerated.

http://www.contactmusic.c...elf-for-new-movie_1104798WINONA RYDER had to starve herself for new movie THE PRIVATE LIVES OF PIPPA LEE - because she finds it impossible shoot emotional scenes on a full stomach. The actress cut her food intake down to just one meal a day while she was filming, in a bid to build up enough tension to play egomaniac seductress Sandra Dulles. And Ryder, who would only eat breakfast during the shoot, admits it was the only way for her to make her on-screen break-down appear real. She tells Elle UK, "I try to fill up in the morning... especially with this movie, it's hard to stay really emotional on a full stomach. Like there has to be this weird craving that's going on if you have to cry. It's a weird thing."

She must really believe in her role and the movie to pull that risk. Oh and thanks Chris

Here's a direct link to the post from that forum: http://www.thefashionspot...=5766789&postcount=68I enjoyed the article and really liked that Rebecca Miller, someone Winona was working with, was the interviewer and writer. However, I do wish there were a few more revealing tidbits in there. I'm not complaining, though! I'm sure the majority of people who read this don't know as much about her as we do (e.g. getting beat up in 7th grade), and it's great to get her face out there on a magazine cover again. Oh, and I love how she is still a Kate Winslet fangirl. haha. I am, too. I just think it's interesting that Winona is kind of like us, in the sense that she admires other actresses out there.

Our U.S. members have almost two months to go to actually get a chance to get a real copy of the magazine. Borders Book Stores still has the May issue. ----- But when I finally get a chance to buy the magazine I'll be sure to buy quite a few copies as collector's items. ----- Rusty
