I think some events in her life were just very important to her, even if we already know about them doesn't mean they're no longer important to her.

And I also hope Winona realizes that for her real fans she’s at first an amazing actress, secondly a wonderful and interesting woman, thirdly but clearly not last a true beauty - I hope she don’t thinks its wrong to be all that - and to be loved for it....

WINONA RYDER had to starve herself for new movie THE PRIVATE LIVES OF PIPPA LEE - because she finds it impossible shoot emotional scenes on a full stomach.
The actress cut her food intake down to just one meal a day while she was filming, in a bid to build up enough tension to play egomaniac seductress Sandra Dulles.
And Ryder, who would only eat breakfast during the shoot, admits it was the only way for her to make her on-screen break-down appear real.
She tells Elle UK, "I try to fill up in the morning... especially with this movie, it's hard to stay really emotional on a full stomach. Like there has to be this weird craving that's going on if you have to cry. It's a weird thing."

Wow that was a quite a risk she took.  She easily could have ended up in the hospital (again).  She must really believe in her role and the movie to pull that risk.

I enjoyed the article and really liked that Rebecca Miller, someone Winona was working with, was the interviewer and writer. However, I do wish there were a few more revealing tidbits in there. I'm not complaining, though! I'm sure the majority of people who read this don't know as much about her as we do (e.g. getting beat up in 7th grade), and it's great to get her face out there on a magazine cover again. Oh, and I love how she is still a Kate Winslet fangirl. haha. I am, too. I just think it's interesting that Winona is kind of like us, in the sense that she admires other actresses out there.

Our U.S. members have almost two months to go to actually get a chance to get a real copy of the magazine. Borders Book Stores still has the May issue. -----  But when I finally get a chance to buy the magazine I'll be sure to buy quite a few copies as collector's items. ----- Rusty
