After Girl, Interrupted Winona has opted for the following projects which sadly fell thru after 2002. Which would still like to see today?

Roustabout - A rough and hard story about the only female Roustabout - a woman who travels with a small american circus building the tent. The live is rough, manners also and the local people normally don't always like the circus people in town. Winona starring as the lead female roustabout.

The Trials of Maria Barbiella - New York in the 1920s. A desperate italian immigrant woman by affect kills her brutal, drunk and adultering man. An unfair trail follows were the woman doesn't even unserstand the questions asked to her. Winona starring as Maria.

A Dolls House - Ibsens classic novel. Winona as the bored and neglected wife of a local trader in a marriage going down to its bitter end, trying to keep the facade up.

I remember being very excited for "The Trials of Maria Barbella." I was upset that film never happened!

Cheers ----- I voted for "Roustabout". ----- I had special ordered the 1996 book written by Michelle Chalfoun from Border's Book Store back in January 2008. ----- I got the out-of-print book in mint condition, with a crisp new bookcover and it is also a first edition of the book. Smiley ----- If this book had been made into a movie with Winona playing the role of Mat, sticking as close to the original book's story, it might of been the first X-rated movie made with our Winona in it. ----- I'm sure the movie would of been watered down from the original book's content to get the movie down to a "R" rating. ----- But the mind boggles at the idea of Winona doing a "X" rated film.  wacko ----- Smiley Rusty

Roustabout, of course. The other two mentioned, seemed way too deploring, to say the least.

Others - Embers, yes, perhaps. And 'Planting' could have been charming.

Okay, maybe 'Maria' - I like a good trial about injustice.
