I avoid ANY kind of public speaking at all, no matter how small the group Do you think she's shy? Yeah, I do think she's shy, or at least has some social anxiety.... I mean, in certain instances, she carries a conversation so well, like in the 20-year anniversary interview on the Heathers DVD (wait, or was it 10 or 15-year...?). She just talked up an eloquent storm from what I remember. But this interview seemed to put her more on the spot and even though I'm sure she was passionate about what she was saying, she was probably given a really quick time limit since it was promotion for a current movie. Haha I don't know. She definitely seems shy. Afterall, she didn't go on Leno or Conan until Girl, Interrupted! She's also a pretty private person. Although I don't think she necessarily lets shyness get the best of her. Also, from what I heard from the Black Swan press conference, she seemed to speak pretty well there. |
