I would take a bus Going by bus is the most uncomfortable way of travel I know - I'd rather go by train, at least you can walk around and have a decent spaced toilet. But across the USA: Only by plane - takes 6 hours - even fast enough for a day-trip.... I could imagine it: ChrisB in the middle, Winona giving first Lawrence and the chrisB a kiss - all in front of CityLights...

You wouldn't catch me on a train or a bus today. But when I was young I had a blast travelling cross country with Greyhound. But then again, I wasn't necessarily obeying all of the rules of bus travel. It was a three day party.

".... I'm on the other side of the country."
When I was young and single and I needed to be on the west coast, I would take a bus. Syracuse to L.A., roundtrip, 110.00.
You standing in the midldle of that bunch, now there's a photgraph I'd like to see.
Oh, my goodness, when was this?? Taking a freaking bus from Central New York roundtrip to, like, Philadelphia is $135 now If buses were that cheap for California, I would so be out west by now!

I took my first ride west in 1981. When I started my first part-time job in 1976 minimum wage was 1.75 an hour. By 1981 it may have been close to 3.00 an hour. I took that first trip west with less than thirty dollars in my pocket. It's all relative. My point is, if you want to experince something you shouldn't worry about how big the toilet, your creature comforts, who sits beside you, or what you may have to smell.

well the topic is random winona tidbits...so here's mine...I had the opportunity to meet Cher the day before the 4th...was that saturday? yes I think it was...sorry, i'm in vacation mode, just in vegas, now off to hawaii!...anyway, we had a very brief conversation, but I told her that mermaids was one of my favorite films, and that I loved she and winona in it. She told me that her and winona struck up an instant friendship on set and that she absolutely adores her...it was really nice to hear, and she was very nice to speak to.

Waiting for Venice 2010. In Italy the newspapers began to talk about Winona. The most important weekly (L'Espresso) dedicates a nice article. With many mistakes, but the important thing is to talk about. http://espresso.repubblic...a-nuova-winona/2131263//0"La fine di un amore è sempre un'esperienza dura. La fine del primo amore lo è ancora di più. E quello fu il mio primo amore. Sono passati vent'anni, ma per me è ancora difficile parlarne"

Cool.. When I translate it with google it's like that "The end of a love is always a tough. The end of first love is even more. And that was my first love. Twenty years have passed, but for me it is still hard to talk about". and John Depp say this?

yes.... "...e si è acuita con la dolorosa separazione da Jonny Depp, all'apice della carriera, alla fine degli anni '80. 'La fine di un amore è sempre un'esperienza dura. La fine del primo amore lo è ancora di più. E quello fu il mio primo amore. Sono passati vent'anni, ma per me è ancora difficile parlarne "

Some of them is new to me even are nonsense. I just want to share. -Was banned from signing a letter encouraging President George W. Bush to sign the environmentally-friendly Kyoto agreement, because of her criminal record. (2005) -Her defense attorney Mark Geragos, who failed to clear Ryder's name of shoplifting charges at Los Angeles boutique Sak's Fifth Avenue last year, failed to invite her to his Christmas bash -- Sources close to the legal eagle cite Ryder's guilty verdict as the reason Geragos is trying to distance himself from her. (December 19, 2003) -When she was little she was addicted to vitamins and would always make up exuses why they were missing. She stopped taking them one day when she went to grab them and then an earthquake struck. She thought it was a sign from god telling her not to take them any more.
and some quotes..
"I'm strange, crazy, intelligent, wild, soft, coy, thrifty, boring, romantic, selfish, full of pride, mean, dark, sweet and most of all I'm through with this interview." "Most of my friends had pretty weird names; the crowd we ran with when I was a little kid was like, Tatonka, Gulliver, Oobie Doobie... I had a friend, who was on my skateboarding team, named A-shole." http://www.celebritywonde.../winonaryder_trivia1.html
