"Scream 4" Rumored Cast Member!!

I didn't know if I should post this or not, but apparently Winona is rumored to have joined the cast!

Now, I know they're not reliable sources, but wikipedia (especially that one) as well as multiple forums and the FAQ page in IMDB all have Winona listed in the cast. So, I thought I'd post it and see what comes of it. Personally, I hope not much does. I really don't want to see her in a fourth installment of a film that wasn't even that good in the first place! I was really hoping her next film would either be the Tim Leary biopic or that Cold War espionage drama she talked about in Vogue, not this! What do you guys think if the news turns out to be true?

I think Noni isn't in the position anymore to get movies done...

With the Leary biopic and the other drama: Those will not be done because Winona is behind them - they will be done if there's a big name producer or big name actor/actress behind them.

I'd say the Scream movies were quite funny but not much more...

What a shame. I hope if she is behind those two films and she gets someone great to direct them i.e. "Girl, interrupted," then they will get made. The Leary biopic was supposed to have Leonardo DiCaprio and Darren Aronofsky involved- those are big names! As for the Cold War drama, I hope that will be made. I think that seems very interesting and very 'Winona.' Maybe she could James Mangold to direct again!

Next to that I've just ordered the 3rd season of "Strangers with Candy" from the US after seeing it again on an VERY old tape yesterday - Noni is funny and very hot in this one...

And, of course, my longtime wish: Noni as Bond villian - or at least another action-movie role like in Alien 4.

What I don't like are movies were she co-stars with actors who do a movie in the pause between tv-seasons and go straight-to-DVD....that's just a waste....not that those movies are bad but....

At last we can hope for her upcomming movies - Informers, Trek and Pippa Lee that she gets on trek again...

Scream helped Drew Barrymore at the time. I can see Winona having a small part like that.

The "Scream" series is fun and campy. I think she would enjoy working on this project. She made her name in the business by working on films she wanted to work on, not necessarily the films that were recommended. The important thing is that she is working. Time and people are fickle, as long as she keeps on working,that one great role is bound to surface.

I don't see anything bad in her maybe appearing in Scream 4. she would be wonderful as in everything else. she made in past few great roles in very bad movies. I just hope she do lots of movies this year. Of course, she deserves best movies, and nominations for Golden Globe and Oscar, but till then-all is fine.
