Um, I don't have any pictures,posters , or emoticons.
Sorry. I am boring.
You are stuck with my words .
I don't get to watch many movies. I am a father, a husband, a homeowner, a neighbor, a businessman, an amateur hack writer, a citizen, and one of those human type beings.
Me takes up a lot of my time.
In other words, I am you.
Hi!
Let's share some smoke, fresh garlic , and a bottle of Boone's Farm.
Give me a braless woman dressed in a flannel shirt.
And,
I still won't know what to do. Seriously. But I love flannel. I have been flanneless for a long time.
But I got to watch some movies this weekend.
In no particular order,
1. The Great Escape: This movie is like chicken soup. A film from my childhood. My dad and I were differnt, but we had this movie, he was a WWII vet and and I believed that the U.S. was the greatest country,we shared this movie. 2. Roll Bounce: I love anything 70's, I am everything 70's, this was the 70's. Disco. 3. Big Night: I love food, I love movies about food, and this is one of the best. 4. Safe Men: I like fun. This is fun. 5. Love and Death : The best movie of all time!!!
I have to mow the lawn.

Yesterday I watched a wondefully strange, funny but also at times sad movie called "The Hollywood Sign" - IMDB - starring Burt Reynolds, Rod Steiger and Tom Berenger. You know how a career goes down: First only parts in small indy-flicks, then some TV-work and finally you end up in Maine doing a commercial At that line delivered by Tom Berenger I nearly choked my potato chips as this remebers me of someone.... The 5 stages of Hollywood fame: 1. How is XYZ??? 2. Get me XYZ!!! 3. Get me someone like XYZ! 4. Get me someone like a young XYZ! 5. Who the hell is XYZ??? But the most sentimental movie moment in years for me was a great scene with Burt Reynolds watching one of his early movies on TV - starring as the young dashing hero - while he cries watching it....
