Don Cornelius. What a sad end for a Giant. This white boy loved that show, found it fascinating. Seems it was only on Saturdays if the game of the week was delayed by rain. Seems I remember Elton on there once doing 'Bennie & The Jets'.

Don Cornelius. . This white boy loved that show, found it fascinating. . I found it fascinating as well and was a regular viewer. There was "Mandy" at the junior high dances but in the basements and garages it was always The O'Jays and Kool and the Gang. In my neighborhood, if you wanted some lip you had to put your hand on your hip and let your backbone slip. R.I.P Ben Gazzara. Tomorrow... Husbands, Chinese Bookie, Opening Night and Anatomy of a Murder in your honor. Ben was one of the best and "Anatomy..." is one of my favorites. |
