That is wonderful, Chris.
They remind me of everything I loved about The Grateful Dead. The early-come-a-rising stuff, the Workingman's Dead era.
This song would fit nicely between Dire Wolf and New Speedway Boogie.
I havn't listened to Dr. Dog's stuff before but I will.
Thanks for the introduction.

"Everybody loves you when you're six feet in the ground"     John Lennon

I was too young for The Beatles,(though my sister gave me the paper stripes that came with  the original Pepper.), but I was weaned on this stuff.
The Jerry Rubin stuff, the Nixon tapping his  phone stuff.

This was an Englishman who fought to be an American.
Fought as hard as he could.
Fought a powerful man  lost in his dress.(Can I sell you a Hoover?)
Fought a powerful man  lost in  his paranoia.(Can I sell you a used car?)

It was his own private Revolution.

To be free.

That's what I remember.

We're all water .

Power to the people.

Happy 70th.

Saw these guys in Saratoga a few years back, they had us on our feet.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/FGmB1mcInwU" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/FGmB1mcInwU</a>

Saw them at Hamliton College right about the time of The Million Man March.

Saw them in New Orleans, always. Charles and his sax.

Been listening to a song by The Heartless Bastards called "Could Be So Happy". I've been playing it over and over.

Here's a fanmade music video I made for the movie Wristcutters(starring Patrick FUgit, SHannyn SOssamon, and Tom Waits, of course), with the music of Gogol Bordello.

This is "THrough THe Roof N Underground"
