I keep picturing all these little kids playing some game in this big field of rye and all.... If they're running and they don't look where they're going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That's all I'd do all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all. I know it's crazy. - Holden Caulfield from J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye - Ch. 22 (1951)

Chris B.—I got the Dan Auerbach album, "Keep It Hid"… very cool… thanks for the tip. Could you make an album suggestion for Dr. Dog… a good one to start with? Awesome! glad to hear you got it.. and you're welcome! As for Dr. Dog... honestly I'd say get them all. They are all superbly made records. But to start out I bought “We All Belong” in 2007 and became a huge fan from then on… You could also start with “Fate,” too- great from start to finish! But like I said, they really are all great albums. I guarantee once you listen to one, you’ll want them all! If it means anything, this is the order in which I bought them. We All Belong Easy Beat Toothbrush Passed Away Vol 1 (only a digital release) Fate Shame, Shame (out April 6th) Hey Chris... I finally got a Dr. Dog album: "We All Belong"-- thanks for the tip, man! For some reason, it reminds me of "Built to Spill" (maybe because I was on a Built to Spill kick recently) but with way-different lyrics. Cool tunes.

Yeah, “We All Belong” is where I started. I think it’s a good place to start. I’m not all that familiar with “Built to Spill,” but I will definitely check them out! BTW, Here’s a new song…their first single from “Shame, Shame” (April 6)h
