One last curve-ball for now:

“If they get a hit, I'm throwing a one-hitter. If they get walk, it's my last walk. I deal with perfection to the point that is logical to conceive it. History is history. The future is perfect.”— Orel Hershiser

An older song (but has finally made it onto "Shame, Shame") It's called "Where'd All the Time Go" AKA "Fat Dog!"

Just re-cracked open my copy of "Poetry as Insurgent Art" - the first line: "I'm signaling you through the flames" -- such a loaded line: good to know that you're not alone when you just wake up and the world's on fire.  Such bold one-liners: "Write beyond time," "Your poems must be more than want ads for broken hearts," and "give a voice to the tongueless street" -- such a bright light, such wisdom, and a comfort/challenge to fellow poets. Cry

thumbs up Yep, some great stuff there... Though, I know that he makes me want to be a better writer!

"Through art, create the order out of the chaos of living."

"Read between the lives and write between the lines."

"Make common words uncommon."

"You can never see or hear or feel too much. If you can stand it."

Edit: Is there a poetry thread here? If not, we should create one.  happy yes

Very cool and inquisitive song there by Mumford & Sons, Nagehan. Good going.  Wink

This song here by Good Charlotte is trying to inspire me to wryte a new story concept again (this is a constant self-torture)
