I'm a Janet fanatic - and AHOTBO is the Janet album, IMO - it's like a master class in creative drumming. She blows my mind all the time.

I'm a Janet fanatic - and AHOTBO is the Janet album, IMO - it's like a master class in creative drumming. She blows my mind all the time.

I think the whole band is innovative… and sounds great doing it… not the most immediately accessible band I think, but definitely engaging—I noticed their sound as different quite quickly, they have a distinct style (double vocals, “angled jangled” guitars, brilliant poetry, etc.)  Also saw Janet Weiss drum with her ex in Quasi… he has a more pop vocal style, I think:
