Our good friend JustChecking has been busy working behind the scenes, and now we got a brand new Winona photo gallery!  here's the address: http://www.wfzr.net/wrgalleryI haven't even had time to really check it out, but what I have seen looks great to me. And we have plenty of room for much more, so I'm sure the collection will grow over time. Now I'll let JC say something about it, since he's responsible for it and did all the work.  |

The pix in gallery are not from the original the-soap/AGCN gallery (of course, some of them might, blah blah), it's for now just a small collection of public and magazine pix of Noni... They're not really sorted in any real order, so you'll have to make your way through it.
There for sure are many duplicates, but they should be different in size of quality.
In preparation are "Movies" album/gallery, and most probably also screen-caps.
Also I've been thinking about some kind of "Recent" or "Current" album - where would be Noni's most recent photos added anytime they appear. Any suggestions welcome.
Of course, all ideas and comments welcome; also, if you have some nice bunch of pix you'd like to donate, feel free to PM me and we'll make something up.
Currently, user uploads to the gallery are disabled (and dunno if GoDrex would at all want them), since I don't really have time to check the gallery often enough to avoid any abuse of the upload feature.

Added 15 pix from Golden Globes + from Oscars '96, '97, and '98, that Peg sent me, to the "Public" album. Enjoy!
Also the "Current" album has been added, as outlined above.
And in another good news - GoDrex found the-soap/AGCN gallery back-up from 2003, it's about 6000+ pix (about 0.5GB), so you can look forward to having another section along the existing ones...
Most probably, the current and future sections will be the ones that will be getting expanded over time, and the AGCN gallery will be "constant".

and to finish the first-day-on off - here's the "WFZR Gallery Logo" contest! you for sure noticed, there's a "Coppermine" logo at top left corner of the galleries... well, how'bout we replace it with something more-to-the-point? logo should be 300x75 pixels in size; save in png or tiff to keep the quality! contest will be stopped when there will be a winner  ... bribes welcome and to show how much wrong it can go, and how tired I am, here's my bit     |

I didn't know anything about it really, but it was an option I could install so I figured why not try it? Seems good to me. JC is the one that has actually used it and I haven't heard any complaints from him yet.

first - I started putting up the AGCN back-up, that GoDrex uploaded, and its first part - the movie galleries - are on. so as of now, there are 4413 files in 29 albums... many more to come. I didn't know anything about it really, but it was an option I could install so I figured why not try it? Seems good to me. JC is the one that has actually used it and I haven't heard any complaints from him yet. well... it's already up there, so why complain?... actually, it's pretty crappy, but it's pretty hard to design good online-gallery software, and from those I saw, this one is not so bad... the only thing I mind from user's side - the software shows just 10 albums "per page", for the remaining ones you have to switch to next page via the teensie-weensie 1-2-3 switch... the movie galleries of AGCN have 26 albums, so this kinda sucks, imo... and from the administrator's side, there are MANY things I don't get at all why they did them this way... but there's no point complaining... |
