bad luck for France... they sure looked like they're satisfied with the 0:0 with Rumunia! but the Holland-Italy was just top-notch, with pretty much worthless Italy - why did they e.g. put Toni on center, if they didn't at all pass him anything through center?... funny is, that for Rumunia it'd be enough to play 0:0 with Italy, and if Italy plays draw with France, and Holland beats France (which after tonight I guess will happen), it could be Holland and Rumunia in QF! tomorrow, the reigning european champs - Greece...

and the first 4 days are gone, with surprisingly only 1 match ending with a draw...
Group A Switzerland 0-1 Czech Republic Portugal 2-0 Turkey
Group B Austria 0-1 Croatia Germany 2-0 Poland
Group C Romania 0-0 France Netherlands 3-0 Italy
Group D Spain 4-1 Russia Greece 0-2 Sweden
today, Czech Republic - Portugal and Switzerland - Turkey

congratz to Portugal (3:1)! the first half (1:1) sure belonged to Czech Rep., with some great and very effective pressing, but in the second half they got just lost... Turkey sure got a lucky win (2:1), since except of the last 20 min of the game they sure didn't show very much; bad luck for SUI, that had more serious chances, but not the endings...
so in Group A, Swiss is out, Portugal safe, Czechs and Turks both need to win in the mutual match, since both of them now have 3 points and a passive score 2:3...
tomorrow, probably one of the best matches left ahead of us in the groups - Germany vs Croatia... even though, Austria vs Poland could also be interesting, since both teams desperately need the win to keep up any hope...

im so sorry for Czech Republic.... thank you, darling! but no need to be sorry, it's enough for us to just beat Turks on 15., and we're through Germany sure today sucked, they were so static, the "only" good action they had ended up in a goal, but it sure wasn't enough against faster and more organized Croatia; well deserved 3 points there for Croatia; "funny" is, that it's still possible for Germans not to get out of the group (just like in 2000 and 2004)... tomorrow, possibly very interesting match Spain-Sweden, and probably boring Greece-Russia...

it's enough for us to just beat Turks on 15., and we're through If the game ends as a draw, then it'll directly go to penalties. It would be real bad for the a side to loose the quarter finals at penalties. You Czehcs play very collective and physcially real strong, on the other hand our team is based on technical abilities. So it will be a interesting game I think, everything is possible. Good luck !

Plus I'm very happy about the Swiss game Our squad is much more better than them in my opinion and it will also be more attractiver for the tournament if Turkey passes to next rounds.
