Directed by Martin Scorsese. Also starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Michelle Pfeiffer, Richard E. Grant, Alec McCowen, Geraldine Chaplin and Mary Beth Hurt. ----- Narrated by Joanne Woodward. Cheesy ----- Movie adaptation of Edith Whardon's Pulitzer Prize wining novel about 1870's New York society. ----- Winona was nominated for an Oscar as best supporting actress, and won the Golden Globe awards as best supporting actress. Smiley ----- The movie was previously filmed in 1924 and 1934. ----- Cheers ----- Rusty

Definitely one of Winona's best performances. The move itself is kind of slow, but Winona's time in it is great.
