What do you think of this 1992 version of the Dracula story directed by Francis Ford Coppola. ----- The movie won Oscars for make-up, sound effects and costume design. ----- Smiley Rusty

I voted good because the movie is OK, but certain parts of it are cheesy. Keanu is a bad choice for Jonathan Harker. They called it Bram Stoker's, but then proceed to invent a story about Dracula's princess that looks like Mina Murray - this is lame @#$%. They ruin the Mina character, which was such an awesome character and  one that you will fall in love with if you read the book. You'll want to forget about the Winona version.

It's not one of my favorites...long and ponderous at times...but Winona is stunning in many of the scenes...
I voted "good"...

Although I voted "excellant" its actually between good and excellant. (a firm 5.5 out of 7). And I personally thought that the Mina Murray "invent a story ... Dracula's princess that looks like Mina Murray" was actually a fresh approach, even if seemingly familar. I can understand one's desiring interest of reincarnation in this vacuum of reality we all exist in and sufferingly dwell ... and to have imagined escapes seem/discovered real - Lord knows, I have mine.
This film was, and still is, an exciting version-ary; one of the best of its subjective kind.
