According to people on the IMDB board the UK cinema release consisted of only 4 screens in London and it was gone within days due to the total lack of audience.

I think anyone who invested money into this would've been happy investing with Lehman Brothers instead... sad yes sad yes sad yes

Next to that the US DVD will be using Regional Coding Enhancement which makes it even more difficult to watch outside the US - at least my codefree player isn't swallowing those discs.... sad no sad no sad no

I've finally watched this movie today. And God, it's really a bad movie. Winona saved the movie to me, because if wasn't her, I would stopped without wait for the end.  zzz

She's truly beauty, but I need to say, won't be the movie I'll be watching over and over to see her.

 Bret Easton Ellis is probably one of the most love him/hate him artists of my generation. It's not an either/or option with him. There aren't too many people on the fence. Any movie based on his work will manufacture the same reaction. I am guessing, but I suspect that Winona related to this story. But it's not for everybody. It's not for me. I have been through the 1980's and I still  have a bad taste in my mouth. Much like Mr. Ellis,but  I don't need to relive the experience.
 In the end, I think Winona is choosing the roles the are important to her. Good for her.

Chris, she has 3 scenes if I'm not wrong. I think she has 10 minutes on screen, counting all scenes.  Sad
