"Night on Earth" directed by Jim Jarmusch is a five part movie about cab drivers and their passengers. Set in L.A., New York City, Paris, Rome and Helsinski. ----- Winona plays the cab driver named Corky in the L.A. segment with Gena Rowlands as her passenger, who is a talent agent and tries to convince Corky to try acting, but all Corky wants to do is drive cabs and maybe become a mechanic. ----- One of my favorite Winona Ryder movie characters. ----- Another great performance is from Beatrice Dalle, who plays a blind Parisian girl in the Paris segment of the movie. ----- Also starring Giancarlo Esposito, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Rosie Perez, Isaach De Bankole, Roberto Benigni, Paolo Bonacelli and Matti Pellonpaa.
